At EBUILD, we are committed to making our community a better place with the generosity of their spirit and commitment towards helping others. We do this by investing in our community and improving human conditions, primarily through charitable giving that benefits a large number of people and also funding individual ventures.
Prostate Cancer Foundation of NZ
In lieu of gifts this Christmas (2024), EBUILD made a substantial donation to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of NZ .
At the risk of appearing sexist, the majority of industry participants at the pit-face are men and I figured we should try and help this organisation in the work they do.
It is our most commonly diagnosed cancer (apart from skin cancers) in New Zealand. Every year more than 4000 men are diagnosed with the disease and over 700 die – the second highest cause of cancer death in men behind lung cancer. For all sexes it sits third behind lung and bowel cancers.
I hope you never need their help and support, but if you do our donation may help a little bit.
Bigair Cheer
EBUILD provided funding to assist BIGAIR Cheer to attend the Australian Masters Competition in October 2023. They came away with 1st Place beating other NZ and Australian teams.
Footnote: Many of these girls went on to the Global Games in Hawaii in May 2024 and won GOLD and overall Grand Champions, which was an amazing experience and result for the massive amount of time they put into their sport.
Adam Francis
EBUILD are proud to sponsorship Adam in his travels in Europe to follow the UCI XCO Mountian Bike World Cup series and then to hopefully qualify for the 2023 World Championships in August.

Cystic Fibrosis
A highlight for us this year was the Gold Sponsorship EBUILD gave to the CFNZ Christmas Tree Festival 2022 at Wellington International Airport. Not only for fundraising but to provide critical support, equipment and advocacy for people living with cystic fibrosis. A great community event at WIAL we are really proud to support.
