Small Commercial Projects in Wellington

Not every commercial project needs a tier-one contractor. But it still needs a builder who understands commercial compliance, works to strict timelines, and delivers a result your clients and staff will appreciate.

At EBUILD, we bring the same quality systems we use on high-value residential projects to small commercial work. That means a dedicated project manager, fixed-price contracts, our 284-point quality checklist, and a builder who actually returns your calls. We handle the consents, coordinate the trades, and keep your business disruption to an absolute minimum.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. We regularly schedule work around our clients’ operating hours. For retail and hospitality projects especially, we can arrange evening or weekend work to keep your business running during the build.
It depends on the scope. Minor cosmetic changes (paint, carpet, furniture) generally do not require consent. However, any work involving structural changes, plumbing, electrical, fire systems, or changes to means of escape will require a Building Consent. We advise on this during our initial scoping meeting.
Yes. Many small commercial buildings in Wellington are earthquake-prone or need structural upgrades. We have experience with seismic strengthening projects and can coordinate the engineering assessments and remediation work.
All EBUILD work is backed by our standard workmanship guarantee. For commercial projects that qualify, we also provide defects liability coverage as specified in the contract. Tony Hodson personally stands by every project we deliver.
